Double-jointed snaffle bit featuring an elliptical lozenge designed for enhanced balance and comfort. The 45 mm lozenge encourages the horse to gently chew the bit and release tension in the jaw, promoting a soft, relaxed contact. Unlike traditional link bits, the elliptical lozenge evenly distributes pressure across the tongue and bars without creating any sharp or concentrated contact points.

The Lock Up system prevents the bit from collapsing too far inward, eliminating the nutcracker effect and offering a more stable and forgiving action—ideal for sensitive-mouthed horses. The continuous curvature of the mouthpiece follows the natural shape of the horse’s mouth, avoiding pressure on the palate.

Crafted in blue sweet iron, the bit naturally oxidizes when exposed to moisture, releasing a slightly sweet taste that stimulates salivation and improves bit acceptance.
