This loose ring snaffle features a 45° angled central plate, anatomically shaped to follow the natural curve of the horse’s tongue. The design discourages horses from pressing their tongue against the bit to resist control and encourages them to lower the chin and soften in the hand.

The Petros mouthpiece is mobile, helping prevent horses from bracing or leaning on the bit, making it ideal for horses that tend to become heavy in the hand.

Made from blue sweet iron, this bit promotes salivation through natural oxidation, creating a warm, sweet taste that encourages bit acceptance and relaxation.

Loose rings allow freedom of movement in the horse’s mouth and offer an immediate release of pressure when rein aids are softened, rewarding a correct response.
