The Stübben back protector is made of thermoplastic foams. Unlike a traditional rigid protection, in the Stübben back protector the impact of a fall is distributed evenly and the risk of injury to the spine is therefore minimized.

The Stübben back protector is certified in accordance with EN 1621-2 motorcycle standards, has passed the so-called Curbtest, the most stringent of all quality standards, and has already won several comparative tests.

In recent tests an extraordinarily low residual energy value was measured: 5.13 KN (central) which is well below the legally required level of 9 KN. The Stübben back protector absorbs up to 95% of the impact energy thus offering maximum protection values.

Maximum wearing comfort
The sandwich structure of the Stübben back protector works in a similar way to a crash zone of a car.

Thanks to the influence of body heat, the protection adapts to the shape of the body thus offering a secure fit and maximum wearing comfort. Moreover, thanks to its perfect fit and its lightness (400-1000 g) it is comfortable and offers the rider great freedom of movement.

The back protector covers the entire length of the spine and is available in various unisex elastic sizes. Thanks to its lightweight construction and bulletproof vest-like shape, it can be perfectly worn with a competition jacket.
