The Baucher bit with Waterford cannon is made of a series of rounded links connected together, creating a very flexible mouthpiece. This design splits the contact points inside the horse’s mouth, making it difficult for the horse to lean heavily on the reins. The result is a lighter, more responsive contact.
The Baucher cheekpieces add a slight leverage effect, encouraging a better head and neck posture and improving the bit’s stability in the mouth. Ideal for horses that tend to brace or constantly seek support on the bit.
