The Jump’In Baucher bit in Blue Steel provides light leverage and improved contact with the rider’s hand. The 16 mm double-jointed cannon relieves pressure from the palate, encouraging the horse to relax, accept the bit more willingly, and adopt a better head and neck position. The central copper rings enhance salivation, helping the horse stay soft and responsive.

Blue Steel (54% carbon, 46% manganese) oxidizes with air and moisture, developing a sweet-tasting patina that naturally encourages relaxation. Over time, the bit takes on a greyish-brown tone due to this oxidation.

The Baucher is ideal for horses needing a slightly higher head carriage. Its thinner cannon allows for more refined communication between rider and horse.
