The Hackamore is an alternative bridle that works without putting pressure on the horse’s mouth. In this model, the 22 cm stainless steel full cheeks create a leverage effect on the nose bridge and jaw, providing effective control without affecting the tongue or bars. It is suitable for horses that do not tolerate a bit, resist the rider’s hand, or cannot be ridden with a mouthpiece for veterinary reasons.

The leather noseband offers precise contact but is softer than models with a rigid metal nosepiece. To further reduce pressure, it can be padded with nasalines, vetrap, or other suitable materials. The long-shank Hackamore requires experienced hands, as it amplifies the leverage effect and should be used with sensitivity.
