INDICATIONS
One of the most frequent defects found in the horse's feet is the so-called "narrow foot". This defect is often associated with the contraction of the heels caused by the lack of pressure on the ground of the frog which therefore shrinks and atrophies.
The causes of such a condition can be natural, such as for example the poor conformation of hereditary origin of the foot itself or the drying up of the corneal box. But they can also be linked to incorrect human intervention, such as bad shoeing which prevents the frog from contacting the ground and consequently can cause excessive heel shrinkage with increased concavity of the sole.
It is therefore necessary to finalize the intervention to restore the functionality of the frog keeping the horny box in the right degree of elasticity.
Hoof Packing allows you to correctly intervene on all the elements that make up the foot expansion mechanism, giving them back all the functional characteristics.
Hoof Packing is indicated not only to maintain the right degree of hygroscopicity of the sole, thus preventing it from becoming too thin and yielding, but also to facilitate the absorption of any subjections and bruises of the same. In order to obtain the best results Hoof Packing must always be applied after a thorough cleaning of the sole and the frog, removing any trace of residual dirt or any pathological material.
The modeling action of the wax will allow paraffin and vegetable tar to adhere uniformly and compactly and to exercise a dual softening action.

METHOD OF USE
Make sure the base is clean and dry. Then take a small amount of Hoof Packing, about the size of a golf ball, and shape it manually until it becomes malleable.
Apply the product around the frog until it completely covers the sole of the base.
Remove the compress thus obtained before taking the horse out of the box.
Repeat the treatment every 2-3 days.
