This Bombers eggbutt snaffle features a double-jointed mouthpiece with a 45 mm elliptical lozenge that encourages the horse to chew and relax the jaw. The mouthpiece maintains a gentle curve, conforming to the shape of the horse’s mouth, eliminating pressure on the bars and palate common in single-jointed bits.
The lock-up feature ensures the bit does not collapse fully, reducing the nutcracker effect while maintaining effective communication. The eggbutt sides add stability and reduce pinching at the corners of the mouth.
